In 2004, France and Canada will celebrate 400 years
of continuous relations, dating back to 1604 when Sieur Dugua De
Monts settled on Saint Croix Island with famous cartographer Samuel
de Champlain. That’s 400 years of developing the exceptional
ties connecting French and Canadian citizens.
